Dryers with Advanced Water Removal Technology
An Air Of Efficiency
According to Air Options, their line of dryers integrates advanced technology to eliminate moisture from compressed air systems, prolonging each unit's life expectancy, reducing maintenance and decreasing operating costs. This advanced technology consists of a simple, 2-stage water evaporation process for the refrigeration cycle in which water is extracted by cooling the compressed air stream, causing water vapor to condense. This process allows any moisture to run down a tube and out of the bottom of the exchanger where it's trapped, so cool, dry air can be introduced to the system. These dryers also feature:
- The ability to maintain operating specifications with temperatures as high as 350 degrees Fahrenheit without damage.
- A smaller, more efficient footprint to allow direct mounting to 30-HP compressors or smaller, or to compressor receivers for systems with more than 30 HP.
- Small, externally mounted refrigeration units with no moving parts.
- Maximum operation pressures of 200 PSI.
- Size availability ranging from 8 - 15,000 SCFM.
